Dehumidification

Moisture that is not removed through extraction must be removed by evaporation and dehumidification to prevent permanent damage. The state of the art dehumidifiers utilized by KleanPros® are capable of reducing high humidity and moisture levels to a safe state quickly. The dehumidifiers have the power and capability to remove water and moisture from drywall, plaster, interior paint, concrete floors, carpets, insulation, basements and contents. Daily monitoring of the drying conditions and equipment on the job allow us to adjust the equipment as necessary to insure drying time is reduced to a minimum.
Dehumidifiers take in wet air and cool it causing the water vapor to condense out. Then the dried air is reheated and expelled back into the room. The warm dry air from the dehumidifier now absorbs additional moisture from the structure and its contents, and is cycled through the dehumidifier and reintroduced into the room through a continuous cycle. The water collected by the dehumidifier is pumped out and removed from the job site. This process continues until the drying goals are reached and the structure is completely dry.
