Carpet Cleaning Services

Your home represents who you are, from the décor to the color to the furniture. The aesthetic and cleanliness you maintain shows others and yourself the extent to which you care about your life. Be careful not to tell the wrong story! Well-maintained carpeting can provide a number of benefits for your home such as beauty, comfort, warmth, atmosphere, noise reduction, traction, and allergen reduction.

Carpets are important to keep clean because it’s very easy for a carpet to get gritty with caked-in dust. The longer you go without getting a professional carpet cleaning, the more likely it is that dirt, dust and grime will be pressed deeper and deeper into the carpet’s fibers. After a while, that adds up and can transform your stunning red Turkish rug or your wall-to-wall brilliant blue carpeting into a gray, vaguely colored mess. If you don’t keep your carpets clean, you may also suffer from allergies, as pet dander or pollen from outside can stay in your carpets forever. Un-cleaned carpets often lead to stale, musty indoor air.

How to Care For Your Carpet

A good carpet will last you up to fifteen years before losing its luster if you care for it properly. Even then, worn threads, not discoloration, will be the reason that you throw the carpet away. If you get a high-quality carpet or rug with a thick, heavy weave, it could last for decades if you regularly have it cleaned. Carpets should be vacuumed about twice a week at least, and spills should be mopped up and cleaned out immediately so they don’t stain the rug fibers. Professional cleaners should be called in about once a year to attend to deep stains and dirt deposits that standard vacuum cleaners can’t pick up.

Our Cleaning Process

We use state-of-the-art techniques to make sure that your carpets come out as clean and stunning as the day you bought them. Our main technique, known as hot water extraction, allows us to put the most elbow grease into our cleaning without damaging your carpet’s delicate fibers. This technique is manufacturer-recommended for most residential and commercial carpeting.

First we heat water to 190 degrees Fahrenheit, and then we mix it with a water softener to help the water bond to the fibers better. We flow this mixture through our specialized vacuum machines over your carpets. The hot water kills any bacteria or mites on impact, and it helps separate the dirty particles from your carpet fibers. Then, the vacuum sucks up all the tiny precipitate matter stuck to the fibers, leaving behind a completely clean carpet for your enjoyment.

Our cleaning process is one hundred percent “green” in that it doesn’t utilize any potentially harmful soaps or chemicals. These can leave residues behind on the carpet fibers, and some can even permanently discolor it. This residue and discoloration means that the carpet loses its natural capacity for resisting dirt. If carpet cleaners use shampoos, you may find you have to call them more and more often as time goes on, despite not making any more noticeable mess! When you’re just cleaning with water, you don’t have to worry about that.

We also use Teflon® Advanced Carpet Protectant if you request it, which allows your carpet to stay protected and much easier to clean. A carpet treated with Teflon is a lot like a Teflon-treated pan – simple cleaning jobs produce much more impressive cleaning results! Unlike pan Teflon, the Advanced Carpet Protectant is a non-toxic colorless liquid that soaks into the carpet and fortifies the fibers. Dirt just doesn’t stick after a Teflon application.

A standard cleaning procedure typically lasts about 20 minutes per medium sized room, and each carpet takes about three to six hours to dry. Of course, in addition to being carpet cleaners we do a fair share of furniture moving, and we will use protective pads to ensure that your valuables stay safe during the carpet cleaning process.

Why Choose Us

Unlike many in the carpet cleaning field, we use the most technologically advanced forms of carpet cleaning out there. We don’t use harmful chemicals, detergents or shampoos that contribute to allergies and damage your rug over time. Most manufacturers’ warranties only remain in effect if you use hot water extraction to clean your rug, because they know that shampoos and detergents fade color and break down the carpet fibers. If you’re interested in keeping your new rug maintained, if you want to fix a rug that seems beyond fixable, or if you need help for cleaning up an emergency spill or stain, contact us for a price quote today!
